Parent/Teacher Communication
I will send a note home in advance telling about any parties that are held in class, and I will ask everyone to sign up to send something or to donate money. If for religious reasons you do not want your child to attend or celebrate the event, then other arrangements can be made.
We will take several field trips throughout the school year. No child will be allowed to attend without a signed permission slip. The costs of field trips vary. Parents and grandparents are strongly encouraged to attend. All chaperones must have a criminal background check on file for the school year in order to attend.
Parents are encouraged to be active at Herrera. There are many ways you can volunteer, even if you work. Let me know if you are interested. Newletters are sent home monthly to keep parents informed of events.
