I expect all children in my room to be well behaved so learning can take place. A child who is being disruptive will be sent to time out until he/she is ready to join the group again. Everyone begins each day with an Excellent/Green conduct grade. As the day proceeds, and a child does not follow classroom rules, he/she is asked to change their "name" to Yellow/Okay. This is a warning for the child. the next color change is Red/Needs Improvement. This means that your child has been spoken to several times during the day about a specific behavior. At this point, the child will loose recess or movie time. If unacceptable behavior contiues, a conference with the couselor, parents, and teacher will be scheduled.
